Today's quote comes to us, via the invaluable memri.org web site,  from ya'qub qarash, a former member of the Jordanian Parliament - Jordan being the "moderate" neighbor of Israel, if you believe our mainstream media.

Here are excerpts of what qarash had to say about his country's neighbor, while speaking on Palestinian Authority TV:

"Allah be praised, we, the Palestinian people in this age, were honored by God, who opened the passage to Paradise, by opening the gates of martyrdom to us. He opened those gates to us - the gates of forgiveness and repentance, the gates of struggle, Jihad, and resistance to the enemy.

"He allowed us to become the first line of defense for the entire nation, against the attacks of the Zionist gangs on this nation, whose pioneering spirit is manifest in the Palestinian people on this sacred land. [...]

"Allah blessed the Palestinian people with a clear and well-known enemy, against whom the fighting is an undeniable right. Anyone killed by this enemy is a martyr beyond any doubt." [...]

"Allah absolves the martyr of his sins with the first drop of his blood. All his sins are absolved, except for the sin of heresy. He is welcomed by the angels. He enters Paradise from the moment he is killed and laid in his grave. He finds himself among the green birds of Paradise. He pleads on behalf of his relatives, and He is married off to the black-eyed virgins.

"The martyr does not just enter Paradise, but he helps others enter as well. He pleads on behalf of his relatives. He does not just enter Paradise. No, he helps others get in as well. [...]

"The martyrs have ushered the Palestinian people into the path of struggle. Whenever another martyr was killed people in Amman, Beirut, and Damascus were mobilized for the sake of Palestine and Jerusalem.

"The martyr does not just plead on behalf of the dead. He mobilizes the living." [...]

"We must not get it into our heads that only martyrs and prisoners are fighters. It should be made clear that we are all fighters. We must all nurture the spirit of struggle within us.

"The [Jews] want everything, although they have no religious rights. They want to prove myths, elevating them above the truth, although these are nothing but myths that they fabricated and now believe in. By Allah, if that [Western] Wall really was part of a temple, I am certain that the companions of the Prophet would have honored that. The Islamic nation is known for never having desecrated a synagogue or a church. It is a fact, however, that they do not have any rights. We confront myths. [...]

"[The Israelis] place obstacles, reject peace, and talk about the prisoners and the fighters, in order to portray themselves to the West as if they were in a state of war. They say: Give me money and weapons. I am in a state of war. There are 10, 20, 30 [attacks] every day. They are fighting us.

"This has become a part of Israeli economic and social activity. They can only survive as Nazis. I say this loud and clear: The Israelis soldiers and Israeli society have appropriated the moral values of their [Nazi] enemy. The Nazis were hostile to them, fought them, burned them, and now they want to burn us, torture us, and imprison us. [...]

Let's see.  qarash has told Palestinians that:

-allah has opened the gates of martyrdom to them (martyrdom, of course, being when you die killing your enemy);

-Israel is sacred Palestinian land (interesting, given that Palestinian Arabs have not controlled this land since the middle ages);

-If you kill an Israeli you are a martyr with all the good stuff that goes with it including a one-way ticket to paradise - and your relatives get a leg up on getting into paradise as well (way to take one for the team!);

-The Jews, apart from wanting everything and having no rights, must be lying about the Western Wall being part of a temple, because "The Islamic nation is known for never having desecrated a synagogue or a church (that has to be the single biggest howler of qarash's quote);

-Israel rejects peace - after continually offering peace proposals for the past 46 years, having every one rejected, and never getting a serious alternative offer in return;

-And Israelis are no different than nazis (an old stand-by of the Palestinian Arab mantra, but there it is again).

Now, keep in mind that Israel has had a peace treaty with Jordan for the past 20 years - one which has clearly benefitted both countries.

Yet this is what a former Jordanian member of Parliament says about them to the Palestinian Arab population - whose leadership, let's remember, is on record as intending to annihilate Israel and kill every Jew there (it is specifically in the hamas charter, and fatah, by signing a "unity agreement with hamas, is ok with it too).

Anyone still wonder why Israel needs to protect itself from these people?  I would hope not.

Congratulations, ya'qub.  Based on a combination of lies, threats and generally one pile after another of dog manure, Quote Of The Day honors are yours.

Henry Chao, the Chief Project Manager for healthcare.gov (aka ObamaCare), has just testified that he never saw a memo, which warned that the possibilities for security risks were "limitless".

Let me say it again:  the Chief Project Manager claims never to have seen a memo which warned that there were "limitless" possibilities of security risks.

Did it get lost in his "IN" box?  Was he out playing golf with President Obama when it was issued?  Did his staff just forget to hand it to him?

Or is he just an effing liar, like so many other people in this unbelievably dishonest administration?

Here are excerpts from the estimable investigative reporter, Sharyl Attkisson, which were aired during last night's edition of CBS Evening News:

Henry Chao, HealthCare.gov's chief project manager at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, gave nine hours of closed-door testimony to the House Oversight Committee.  Chao was asked about a memo that outlined important security risks discovered in the insurance system.

Chao said he was unaware of this September 3 government memo, written by another senior official at C.M.S. It found two high-risk issues, which are redacted for security reasons. The memo said, "The threat and risk potential to the system is limitless".

The memo shows C.M.S. gave deadlines of mid-2014 and early 2015 to address them. But Chao testified he'd been told the opposite.

It was Chao who recommended it was safe to launch the website October 1. When shown the security risk memo, Chao said, "I just want to say that I haven't seen this before".

Ms. Attkisson went on to report that the author of the memo, Tony Trenkle, abruptly resigned last week. (Just like the State Department people who were involved in Benghazi were suddenly reassigned.  And the Lie-RS scandal's lois lerner was put on paid administrative leave - to abruptly "retire" when emails started surfacing which showed her involvement in targeting groups with political views critical of President Obama.  Funny how that keeps happening in this administration).

Let me ask again what I asked before:  Do you believe Henry Chao?  If so why?

Why would you believe anyone in this administration about anything?

The more we know about ObamaCare, the more dirt we find.

Zeke .... ..... At least, he didn't take the Fifth. . . . . . The IRS gal did, and then resigned . . . . .Obama didn't know, and well maybe apologized . . . . ,. ., ,, , , This crew is a bunch of UN-Truthers. (11/12/13)

From Josh Peterson's blog at dailycaller.com:

Fewer than 50,000 people successfully enrolled in a private health insurance plan through Healthcare.gov since Oct. 1, according to The Wall Street Journal.

The enrollment numbers - between 40,000 and 50,000 enrollments - are a fraction of the 500,000 people the Obama administration hoped would sign up during October - a mere 10 percent.

A mere 10%, eh?

And wouldn't you love to know what the age breakdown is?

See, the Obama administration is not saying.....the reason being, I am roughly 100% certain, that it is overloaded with older folks.

The problem is, ObamaCare needs a major surge of young, healthy people to pay those inflated insurance premiums, thus subsidizing everyone else.

Do you think that surge is about to happen?  If so, please signify by saying "I believe everything Barack Obama and his people tell me".

Then go back to sleep -- because if you can say that, you have been sleeping for years.

Zeke ..... ...... The "Signup" is the EASY part. . . . . . Wait until all the various insurance companies try to interface with each other. . . . . Judging by the poor performance to date, the 'back end' of the system will be a disaster. . . . . . (11/12/13)

If I were a 20-something, I'd consider going without insurance, and if I needed catastrophic coverage, then moving to a state with Federal exchanges and sign up there, (unless I was lucky enough to be in the signup months). .... .... The ObamieKare scheme depends on overcharging young, healthy people. . . . . .. (11/13/13)

Are you aware that something like 50,000 "navigators" have been hired by Health and Human Services (HHS) to help people enroll in ObamaCare?

Are you aware that they are shoddily recruited, poorly trained, that there are instances of them telling potential sign-ups to lie so their insurance premiums will be lower, and that the vetting has been so poor that even HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius acknowledges the possibility that they include convicted felons - the kind of people who would use personal information obtained in an ObamaCare application for nefarious purposes?

Well, all of that is true.  And it makes the "navigator" hiring process look suspiciously like a major-league boondoggle - a pathetic scam that hands money to people incapable of doing what they will be paid to do, who could not care less about doing it properly.

Somehow, I doubt you are surprised.

James O'Keefe, who runs Project Veritas - the conservative undercover operation which uses hidden cameras and audio devices to ferret this kind of information out - has acccumulated information which, it appears near-certain, will blow the lid off of ObamaCare's "navigator" operation.

But don't expect to see much of it in the mainstream media.  They hate O'Keefe's guts.

Why?  Because he is conservative and because he puts them to shame by uncovering exactly the kind of fraudulent activities they would have uncovered if they cared more about investigative journalism than propping up Barack Obama and his fellow Democrats.

John Fund, writing for National Review, has an excellent, extremely vital article about Mr. O'Keefe's activities, which I urge you to read in its entirety -- especially because it has the video which shows everything you are about to read.

Here are a few excerpts:

James O'Keefe, the guerrilla videographer who helped bring down ACORN (the "community organizing" group that Barack Obama worked for as a lawyer and trainer) and got NPR's president fired, is back.

This time, his undercover investigators focused on Obamacare's "navigators," the nearly 50,000 people who, in the words of the Department of Health and Human Services, "will serve as an in-person resource for Americans who want additional assistance in shopping for and enrolling in plans" on the Obamacare exchanges (at least when they're finally working). The total value of grants doled out for nonprofits and community organizations to hire navigators has topped $67 million nationwide, and some of the money is going to a group run by ACORN's highly controversial founder.

The events of O'Keefe's video of a Texas navigator site run by the National Urban League are a familiar sight to viewers of his past efforts exposing Medicaid and voter fraud. Government-paid workers supposedly trained to uphold the law advise clients on how to lie on government forms, evade legal requirements, and ignore proper procedures.

"You lie because your premiums will be higher," one navigator advises an investigator for O'Keefe's Project Veritas, who tells the worker he sometimes smokes. "Don't tell them that. Don't tell 'em."

The investigator then poses as a low-income worker at a university who has unreported cash income on the side, worrying about how that might affect his premium subsidies. That's no problem for a navigator, who says, "Don't get yourself in trouble by declaring it now."

"Yeah, it didn't happen," another navigator says. One more chimes in: "Never report it."

OKeefe's cameras then visit Enroll America, a nationwide nonprofit group that has launched a multi-state grassroots campaign to help millions of Americans sign up for health coverage. Daniel Clayton of Enroll America says the group is "purely nonprofit. It's not partisan, non-political." But when Brian Pendleton of Enroll America is introduced at a speaking engagement, Enroll America is described as "the official group for the DNC [Democratic National Committee]."

There's much more in the video, which O'Keefe hints will not be his last.

(Last week HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius) was asked by Texas senator John Cornyn if "a convicted felon could be a navigator and could acquire sensitive personal information from an individual unbeknownst to them."

"It's possible," was Secretary Sebelius's less-than-comforting reply.

We all know what a cataclysmic disaster ObamaCare's rollout has been - so impossibly bad that even most (though by no means all) mainstream media have given up trying to fake it.  But now we see that, even for the chosen few who manage to get far enough in the sign-up process to speak with a "navigator", it is every bit as incompetent and dishonest..

Are you surprised?  I would hope not.  Not after three years of continuous lying by Mr. Obama and his pals about your ability to retain insurance you like, and whether you can keep your current doctors.

ObamaCare is an unworkable monstrosity.  And, since its rollout, everything we have found out about it seems to confirm that - as bad as it has appeared - it is even worse.

Thank you James O'Keefe for doing the work mainstream media's "investigative journalists" shun like the bubonic plague.

Thank you John Fund for bringing it to our attention.

As for most mainstream media?  Shame on you, and double shame.  You may consider yourselves journalists.  It may say "journalist" on your business cards.  But you are not journalists at all.  You are propagandists, and you disgrace your profession.
