THE KERMIT GOSNELL TRIAL - UNREPORTED FACTS ABOUT LATE TERM ABORTIONS

Ken Berwitz

As a Philadelphia jury deliberates the fate of mass murdering monster kermit gosnell (I don't need a jury or a judge's instructions to know this, and neither do you), I would be remiss not to highlight (lowlight?) two facts which have come out during the course of this trial.

1:  There are a great many more late term abortions than media have told us about.

gosnell made a living - apparently a huge one, by exterminating late term babies.  And he is far from the only one, as the sickening hidden-camera videos put out by liveaction.org - which, of course, have gone virtually unreported in mainstream media, because mainstream media is determined not to put the abortion industry in any bad light, even when its activity is the killing of live, out-of-the-womb babies.

2:  The procedure for making a late term abortion "legal" is to kill a live baby inside the womb, and then remove the baby that has been killed.

This is neither hyperbole nor exaggeration.  This is a fact.  Use the link provided above, watch the liveaction.org videos, and hear the abortionists themselves describing how they use laminaria and other methods to "demise" the baby (yes, it is referred to as a baby by at least one abortionist - not that I need him to tell me it is).  Then, since there is no longer a live child, it is just sucked from the womb in pieces (that's how what is left of the live baby usually comes out.)

And if the baby should come out still alive - i.e. it has survived the attempt on its life?  Then the abortionists - on hidden video - tell the patient they just don't do anything to keep it alive, so it then dies.

That is exactly how you would kill a one week old, or a one month old baby.  Don't feed it, clothe it, address its medical needs and it will die.

It is bad enough that media - with the sterling exception of Fox News, which the others accuse of not providing adequate news coverage - have buried this story to protect the wonderful, elevated image of abortion providers in this country.  But to have the fact that abortionists are killing live babies come out, and ignore that too?  I don't even how the words to describe how depraved these so-called "journalists" are.

How do these baby killers - that is exactly what they are, baby killers -  face themselves in the mirror?  And that goes 100% as well, for "journalists" who, knowing this is happening, do not report it.  They are literally aiding and abetting the baby killers.

They have no honor.  No integrity.  And no shame.

I'M NOT A DIPANAT: A "YOU HAD TO BE THERE" MOMENT

Ken Berwitz

We spent yesterday with our absolutely beautiful, and amazingly brilliant grandchildren.  (I think they are in a tie with how most other grandparents feel about their grandchildren).

Our 3 year old granddaughter, aside from those two attributes (and too many others to list here), has managed to learn the lyrics to at least a few songs by Rihanna and Nicki Minaj (personally, I don't know even one song by either of them).

I asked her which of the two she liked better.  She said "I like Rihanna and Nicki Minaj"

I said "You're a real diplomat."

She thought about that for a second.  Then she looked at me with her best "how can anyone say anything that silly" look, and told me "Grandpa!  I'm not a dipanat!".

I admit you had to be there - and maybe you had to be the grandpa in question.  But I've been laughing about it ever since.

Did I mention that she - and her brother - are absolutely beautiful and amazingly brilli...oh, I did?  Ok.

GOVERNOR CHRISTIE BUGS PETA

Ken Berwitz

PETA is really bugged.

Yesterday, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie was speaking to a group of schoolchildren in his office when one or more of them noticed a spider on his desk.  He asked where it was, they pointed it out to him and he slammed his hand down, presumably killing the spider - to the laughter and applause of the children.

You can watch a very short (less than half minute) video of Mr. Christie's spider smackdown by clicking here.

Well, it seems that PETA is perturbed by this example of...I guess you would call it insecticide.  Ingrid Newkirk, the President of PETA has gone public, calling it "thoughtless".

I have to admit that, to some extent, I agree with her.  As my bemused wife will tell you, I have been known to catch bugs and put them outside rather than killing them.  That's just my nature.

And if I were Governor Christie I might have tried to catch the spider, then carry it to an outside door or window and let it out.  That would have taught the children mercy, benevolence, and that they had no reason to be scared of most common household pests (other than, possibly, an angry in-law).

On the other hand (no, not Christie's other hand, I mean there's a second side to this), I wonder how Ms. Newkirk thinks spiders's lives end when the cause is something other than Chris Christie giving them an emphatic die five?

According to the Tokyo Metropolitan University, a typical male house spider, in laboratory conditions (which, I would think, make things safer for them - after all, when was the last time you saw Chris Christie in Japan?) lives just a bit over one month.  The female of the species typically lives almost four months (I am now resisting a compilation of Henny Youngman jokes about why wives live longer than their husbands).

So, assuming the spider in question was about halfway through its life, and it was going to die of old age, a male would have had maybe 17 days left, and a female about 58 - 59 days.

The problem, however, is that, by and large, spiders do not live full lives in laboratory conditions.  They tend to die unnatural deaths - very often being eaten by larger animals who are far more indifferent to their plight that Ingrid Newkirk.

I have sometimes thought about how I would like to go.  I suppose the best case scenario would be painlessly, in a nice, comfortable bed, with loving family and friends around me (although being shot, in a nice but very dishevelled bed, by the furious husband of a Playboy centerfold does have a certain appeal).

But, try though I might to be optimistic about it, I sort of doubt spiders share that hope.  Given that they have nothing more than instinctive intelligence and either no, or next to no, nervous system, I'm sure they just take death as it comes.

And yesterday, come it did to at least one spider, courtesy of the Governor of the great state of New Jersey.

Bottom line?  I am pretty confident that Ms. Newkirk and the folks at PETA are a lot more traumatized about this than the schoolchildren Governor Christie was with.  Or, for that matter, the spider.

Anyway, I hope so.

BARACK OBAMA: MEXICO, GUNS AND DISHONESTY

Ken Berwitz

Even though I do not like the current President of the United States, I try to show respect, at least, for the office he holds.  I certainly do not feel it is appropriate to think of him as "that son of a bitch".

For that reason, I am actually embarrassed by my reaction as I read David Martosko's article in London's Daily Mail, which is excerpted below:

President Obama used a speech at Mexico's Museo Nacional de Antropologa - the National Anthropology Museum - to claim that "most of the guns used to commit violence here in Mexico come from the United States.'

"I think many of you know that in America, our Constitution guarantees our individual right to bear arms," Obama said. "And as president, I swore an oath to uphold that right, and I always will."

"But at the same time, as I've said in the United States, I will continue to do everything in my power to pass common-sense reforms that keep guns out of the hands of criminals and dangerous people."

"That can save lives here in Mexico and back home in the United States," Obama added. "It's the right thing to do."

"So we'll keep increasing the pressure on gun traffickers who bring illegal guns into Mexico. We'll keep putting these criminals where they belong: behind bars."

It would be hard to describe the anger that coursed through me as I read this.

Under President Obama, "Operation Fast and Furious" sold almost two thousand such weapons to Mexican drug cartels - ostensibly for the purpose of tracking them back to the kingpins of those cartels.  But they were not tracked.  As a result, hundreds of Mexicans are dead, with who knows how many others injured.  At least two US agents - border agent Brian Terry and customs agent Jaime Zapata - were killed.

And since this scandal became public (with virtually no thanks at all to our wonderful "neutral" media, almost all of which did its level best to bury it), Attorney General eric holder has lied to our faces about what happened and has continued to withhold crucial evidence ever since.

That is why President Obama can get in front of cameras and decry the weapons which are walked across the US border to Mexico without explaining his administration's part in supplying such weapons:  a combination of his seemingly absolute indifference to telling the truth (about anything at all) and an Accomplice Media that will demonstrate its unconditional love for him by burying even a scandal as big as this one.

That is why I had the reaction I did.  Do you blame me?

free` I watch a show called Border Wars, do you know what the US government does with all the guns they confiscate at the border? They destroy them. 100s of thousands of dollars worth of guns and instead of reselling them, they destroy them. What a waste [just like cars for clunkers]. And you should see some of these guns, especially the ones for the crime bosses, gold inlay with diamonds, I am talking real expensive guns here. (05/04/13)

WHY DID PRESIDENT OBAMA & DEMOCRATS SUDDENLY "UNFURLOUGH" AIR TRAVEL EMPLOYEES?

Ken Berwitz

Why did President Obama and his fellow Democrats, who, for a week or so, assured us that they had no choice but to furlough air travel employees, thus causing painfully long waits at airports, suddenly find a way to "unfurlough" them?

As if you didn't know.........

Here is the result of a national Rasmussen research poll conducted this past Wednesday and Thursday, in which respondents were asked Did the sequester cut federal spending too much or not enough?

-Too Much:  24%

-About right: 8%

-Too little:  44%

-Don't know/not sure: 25%

In other words, less than one in four respondents felt the sequester went too far.  But a majority felt the sequester amount did not - and almost all of that group (44% of 52%) felt it did not go far enough; that it should have been even greater.

Is there any doubt that the administration's polling people came to the same conclusion?  Is there any doubt about this being the reason Obama & Co. suddenly, magically, found they could re-allocate funds and put the air travel personnel back to work?

Asking again for the umpteenth time:  how can anyone trust these people?  How can anyone believe a word they say?
