With a tip of my hat (if I ever decide to wear one) to Jonathon M. Seidl of

Here is the cover of former President George Bush's new, hugely best-selling book:

And here is the book cover that was shown during a CBS News sgement this past Sunday:

CBS claims this was an inadvertent accident.

Do you believe them?

If so, please buy my original of the Mona Lisa.  I've just reduced the price to whatever you happen to have in your bank account at the moment.

Is it just me, or do you also see this as the left trying to blackmail a Republican conservative by threatening to "out" him.

This time it is Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina.

Excerpted from an article at (whatever that is):

A blogger who specializes in outing closeted gay political figures claims that evidence of U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham (RINO-S.C.)s homosexual lifestyle is about to be released.

I wonder if Lindsey Graham knows I have pictures of a man who spent the night at his house, blogger Michael Rogers recently tweeted.

A later tweet from Rogers indicated that he was meeting with an attorney on December 21 to discuss the release of the alleged pictures. On his website, BlogActive, Rogers writes that the meeting with his attorney indeed took place and that a letter has been sent to Grahams office.

Ive prepared a written letter for Lindsey Grahams press secretary that I will be mailing (Wednesday), Rogers writes. will be sharing the next step which is to contact Lindsey Grahams office (as instructed by my counsel) to show them what I have and to see if they want to make an on the record comment.

wo months ago, Hustler publisher Larry Flynt said during a nationally-televised interview that he knew the identity of a homosexual U.S. Senator who was on the verge of being outed but declined to name names.

We know weve got a gay senator, Flynt said during an appearance on CNNs Newsroom. We (would) just like to see him come out of the closet. And I think well be exposing that in the next few months if he doesnt.

Flynt added that we were ready to expose the senator at one time, but then the guy who is really his lover was actually married and that produced a kind of conflict that we didnt want to that we didnt want to go to.

Rumors about Grahams alleged homosexuality have been whispered about in Palmetto political circles for many years, although no concrete proof has ever been offered.

For the record, Graham denies being gay.   But, also for the record, I do not care one little bit whether he is gay, and it would not in any way affect my attitude toward him as a senator (which is quite positive) if he were.

But the pigs - the low-down pigs - who are threatening to out him disgust me to the core of my being.

Suppose, for the sake of discussion, that Lindsey Graham is gay (FYI:  It will take one helluva lot more than a male friend sleeping over at his house to prove it).  What does michael rogers or larry flynt think will happen if they threaten to make it public?  Do they think this will cause Graham to vote their way on issues that come before the senate?  What other reason would they have to "out" him?

We are talking about the scum of the earth here.  And I don't mean Lindsey Graham.

Is the Obama administration pulling out all the stops to protect its lords and saviors; the heads of major unions?

The administration certainly needs the unions, which spend (individually) tens  and (cumulatively) hundreds of millions of dollars to elect Democrats each election cycle.  It certainly has protected unions in the past (look at how many of them are being given waivers on ObamaCare - which they are happy to avoid, but we're supposed to believe is a cheaper, better way of providing health care).

The question is, has Obama & Co. taken the unions' money and then paid off by covering for their corruption?

Matthew Boyle, writing for, certainly thinks so.  Here is an excerpt from his excellent, highly illuminating article on the subject.  You decide:

Labor department fails to release union corruption tracking report

By Matthew Boyle - The Daily Caller

The Office of Labor Management Statistics (OLMS) was supposed to release an annual report tracking labor unions and evidence of corruption in union leadership in January 2010 but still hasnt released the document.

OLMS, which falls under the Department of Labor, has released no such tracking report since George W. Bushs administration, something that has the conservative nonprofit organization Americans for Limited Government (ALG) up in arms. ALG filed a Freedom of Information Act request for the 2009 report, and OLMS denied the groups request by saying it needed more time to complete the report. Originally, however, those reports were publicly available on the OLMS website.

The report would tabulate the number of cases nationwide of union leader prosecution, the amount of funds they embezzle and the misuse of union funds. It also would keep track of indictments. Those statistics do exist elsewhere, as criminal and most civil court proceedings become public record after the cases close, but theyre difficult to track down as theyre in courthouses all over the country. The OLMS annual reports kept track of that information, allowing people to access it easily.

ALGs current head of research, Don Todd, who led OLMS during the Bush administration, told The Daily Caller he doubts it would be too difficult for the Obama administration to release that information, as theyre supposed to keep track of it all year long. He also said that this administrations failure to release the report is freakishly incompetent. He suspects politics is to blame.

Its got to be a political decision, Todd said in a phone interview. You know, I ran the agency during the Bush administration, and its the career people that put the thing together. So, the fact that its not out is a political decision.

Imagine that.  The annual report tracking union corruption, which was issued promptly each year by the Bush administration, has yet to see the light of day from President Obama.

How late is it?  A year late - which means that we didn't see it throughout the midterm election cycle - and still no indication that the Obama people are ready to release it any time soon.

Now why do you suppose the Obama administration is withholding this report?  Because unions like the AFL-CIO, AFSCME and SEIU come out as pure as the driven snow?

You can't say they aren't getting their money's worth, can you?  But what what about the rest of us?

That's something worth remembering, right through to election day 2012.

Zeke .... ...... Another case of Obama covering and rewarding his friends while he punishes his opponents. .... ..... The auto industry bailout served ONLY to protect union contracts and benefits. .... ... A normal bankruptcy would have kept GM and Chrysler running, but cut union pay and produced efficient work rules. Benefit obligations would also be reduced. All this would have made the cost structure much more competitive for both companies. Instead, the taxpayer has shelled out over $100 billion, and will never see even half of that back. ..... .... We could have kept the companies intact, under bankruptcy, and not have squandered such huge sums. ....... ...... ..... But, this way, unions now 'owe' Obama. (12/22/10)

free` As the midterm election approached, I told people, look for the union label and then vote against that person or proposition. (12/22/10)

The following story, written by Amanda Mcelfresh's article  in the Lafayette (LA) Advertiser (and too short to excerpt), goes straight into the "you can't make this stuff up" file:

As airport security becomes more of a concern during the holiday travel season, travelers will be seeing delays of all sorts. But an hour-long delay for Lafayette Regional Airport users Tuesday morning was of a nature most fowl.

The airport was briefly shut down as authorities investigated a suspicious package that turned out to contain a frozen chicken and a head lamp, said Lt. Craig Stansbury, spokesman for the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office.

Police were called to the airport around 10:48 a.m. Tuesday after a TSA employee saw the package run through the screening process.

According to Stansbury, the outline of the wires from the head-mounted mining light overlapped another image, that of the chicken, during the screening.

The combination made for an odd and not readily identifiable image, so the employee notified other security personnel.

The terminal was evacuated while the package was examined.

Stansbury said bomb dogs and other resources were used to make sure the package did not contain anything dangerous.

The wires coming from the lamp made the chicken look particularly suspicious, he said.

According to authorities, the chicken was reportedly stuffed with crawfish as well,

The all-clear was given around 11:45 a.m., and airport operations resumed as usual.

Hey, it could have been a bomb.  You never know what ingredients you'll find in a Louisiana crawfish recip.

Of course it could have been a lamp.  I've heard tell that frozen, stuffed chickens are often used to make lamps.  Unfortunately, the life of the lamp is somewhat abbreviated, and dogs have a tendency to try to eat them.....

Maybe the head lamp belonged to the chicken.  It can get awful dark in that coop when the sun goes down, and you wouldn't want to sit on the wrong egg.....

Okay, enough yolks.  The next one is yours.

This PC lunacy comes to us via an excerpt from an article at WUSA-9, Prince William County, VA:

Christmas Sweater Club Punished At Local High School

HAYMARKET, Va. (WUSA) -- They call themselves the "Christmas Sweater Club" because they wear the craziest ones they can find. They also sing Christmas songs at school and try their best to spread Christmas cheer.

Now all 10 of them are in trouble because of what they did at their school.

"They said, 'maliciously maim students with the intent to injure.' And I don't think any of us here intentionally meant to injure anyone, or did," said Zakk Rhine, a junior at Battlefield High School.

The boys say they were just tossing small two-inch candy canes to fellow students as they entered school. The ones in plastic wrap that are so small they often break apart.

Skylar Torbett, also a junior, said administrators told him, "They said the candy canes are weapons because you can sharpen them with your mouth and stab people with them." He said neither he nor any of their friend did that.

Next thing they knew, they were all being punished with detention and at least two hours of cleaning. Their disciplinary notices say nothing about malicious wounding but about littering and creating a disturbance.

"It was at 7 in the morning, before school even starts, so I don't what we'd be really disrupting," said Cameron Gleason, also a junior.

Principal Amy Etheridge-Conti says she can't comment on the students' discipline but did say there was a lot more to it than handing out candy and that the discipline was warranted.

The boys admitted their incident may have caused litter since some kids dropped their candy canes on the floor.  But Cameron Gleason said he spent an hour cleaning up the dropped candy.

The boys' parents think the school went overboard and maybe administrators were trying to stop their boys from spreading Christmas cheer.

Mother Kathleen Flannery said an administrator called her and explained "not everyone wants Christmas cheer. That suicide rates are up over Christmas, and that they should keep their cheer to themselves, perhaps."

Go ahead, try to find a story, or a school administration, more imbecilic than this one.  I dare you.

These are candy canes.  Two inch inch candy canes.

It takes an especially sick mind to come up with the premise that students will suck the ends of tiny candy canes into points and use them as weapons.  Maybe Battlefield High School Principal Amy Etheridge, and the administrator who thinks being tossed a candy cane might make students suicidal, would like to provide the statistics on how often this happens.  How about a few hospital reports that say "puncture wounds inflicted by sucked candy cane".

I would love to know if this policy extends beyond a few young people trying to show some Christmas spirit.  Do the school's cafeteria and vending machines serve nothing that has, or could be made into, a point?  For example, does the cafeteria refuse to serve chicken breasts, legs or anything else that has bones?  What about the utensils?  Do Battlefield High School students eat with knives, forks and spoons, or with toothpicks, like The Rainman -- oops, forget that.  Toothpicks have points too.

And how do students take notes?  Are pens and pencils allowed?  They all have points, don't they?  Even without students sucking them.

But why stop there?  How about the name of the school?  Doesn't "Battlefield" conjure up an image of violence, blood and death?  How many students have committed suicide over that?

If Principal Etheridge and the administrator in question (along with who knows how many others) had exercised even one iota of common sense, this imbecilic display of PC would never have occurred.  But they did not.

Maybe it's time for them to find another line of work.

For sure, that idiot principal will be there until she can retire on her huge public employee pension, with lifetime health. ..... ......
