BILL MAHER'S HATREDS

As you may be aware, it has recently come to light that in 2008, then-New York Jet quarterback Brett Favre sent "sexting" messages, including a picture of his penis, to sexy "sideline reporter" Jennifer Sterger. 

Well, that remarkable deep-thinker bill maher decided to do a segment about Favre during his latest "Real Time" show on HBO.  Here is what he said:

Finally new rule -- if a woman rejects your first dozen advances don't up the ante by sending her a picture of your penis. This week we found out that Vikings quarterback Brett Favre allegedly tried to get with a young woman by sending her MySpace messages, voicemails, notes through a friend and when none of that worked and when it was third and long -- though not as long as most of us would have imagined - he decided to sext her pictures of little Brett to close the deal. You know, Brett, I get it. Your dictionary doesn't include the word quit or retire or married, but you've got to at least understand punt. 

You know the worst part about having sex with Brett Favre? He keeps saying he's finished and then he comes back to drag it out for another year. To me this story really isn't about sports or sex or how necessary caller ID is. It's about how pathetic and clueless white American males have become because the kind of guy who thinks there are women out there who just cold want to see your cock is the same kind of guy who thinks Sarah Palin is swell and tax cuts pay for themselves. I will explain that connection further. But first let's just dwell for one more minute on how stupid it is to forget that in 2010 when you text someone a picture of your genitals, you're not just sending it to that person but to every person on the planet who has access to the internet. Somewhere right now there's a tribesman in Samoa thinking, Brett Favre is texting a picture of his dick to a woman? That shit never worked. And he's right. No one in the history of mankind has ever wanted to see a picture of a penis. Go back to the earliest cave painting. The very first one is of a cock and after that there all antelopes and sunrises.

 

But for some reason men persist. Why? And here's what we're getting to, because men have always been in charge, especially white men. Brett Favre is like a lot of white males. He's owned the world for so long, he's going a little crazy now that he doesn't. Also like many white men across the country, he lost his job to a Mexican. 

And if Brett Favre's penis could talk, what would it say? Well, other than no photos please, I think it would say, I'm not a witch. I'm you. Because for hundreds of years, white penises were America. White penises found America. They made the rules and they called the shots, in the workplace, in the home and at the ballot box. But now the unthinkable is happening. White penises are becoming the minority. 2010 was the first year in which more minority babies were born than white babies. This is what conservatives are really upset about. That the president is black, and the Secretary of State is a woman, and every shortstop is Latino, and every daytime talk show host is a lesbian. And suddenly this country is way off track and needs some serious restoring. If penises could cry, and I believe they can, then white penises are crying all over America. And that's where this crew comes in. The lovely MILFs of the new rank. And their little secret is that their popularity comes exclusively from white men. Look at the polling. Minorities hate them. Women hate them. Only white men like them. I'm no psychiatrist but I do own a couch. And my theory is that these women represent something those men miss dearly: the traditional idiot housewife. 

If an election between Obama and Sarah Palin were held today and only white men could vote, Sarah Palin would be president. Did you know that in 1788, when there were 4 million people in America, only 39,000 of them, the rich white men, got to vote? That doesnt sound good to you? Well, what I if threw in a picture of my cock? 

Which brings me back to Brett Favre, and I think it is worth noting that in one of the alleged photos of Mr. Favre, he is pleasuring himself on a bed while wearing Crocs. And if you think about it, is there any better metaphor for the sad state of America today than an over the hill white guy lazily masturbating in plastic shoes?

Did you find that clever and entertaining? 

Or did you find it a stupid, wildly prejudiced compendium of maher's hatreds, both named (White men for sure - can anyone get this man a mirror?), unnamed (that hamhanded, unsubtle "witch" reference to Christine O'Donnell), along with the requisite cheap shots at Sarah Palin, who absolutely terrifies the bill mahers of the world.

Look, I don't have to agree with a comedian's political views to be entertained.  In that regard, Robin Williams quickly comes to mind -- and there are plenty of others.

So when I tell you that bill maher does not entertain me at all, he just comes across as a nasty, prejudiced jerk who, if he were as far to the right as he is to the left, would be nowhere in this business, I'm hoping you won't just chalk it up as political venom.  It isn't.

The saddest part is that maher appears to be a very intelligent and insightful person.  Too bad he subordinates those attributes to the garbage he hauls onto his HBO show.


ALAN GRAYSON AS A VICTIM (I'M LAUGHING TOO)

"They destroy us with these negative ads. These blistering, evil negative ads. In front of my -- in front of my children on my TV set, they called me a liar, they've called me a loud-mouth, they've said I'm a national embarrassment. And this is their idea of constructive dialogue":  Alan Grayson, after putting out the "Taliban Dan" ad against his challenger, Dan Webster, and now an ad that compares him to "The Sopranos" 

That's right.  Alan Grayson is upset that negative ads are being used against him. 

That is like Lindsay Lohan complaining that there are young actresses who use drugs.

I just watched a video at www.realclearpolitics.com, of Grayson's segment with his fawning suckup and willing foil, MSNBC's Ed Schultz.  My favorite parts are:

-At the beginning, when Schultz portrays Grayson as a victim, because the people he has attacked are supporting his opponent,

-Later, when Grayson complains that his opponent, Dan Webster, got a lot of contributions after appearing on Fox News Channel (funny, Grayson didn't assure us he would turn down contributions he recieved after being on Schultz's show),

-A bit further, on when he offhandedly said that President Bush had "beady eyes and a vacant look" (personally, I think Grayson looks unsettlingly like Shrek),

-And afterwards, when they show his new campaign ad which, with typical Grayson class, equates Dan Webster to Tony Soprano.

Bottom line?  Alan Grayson is not a national embarrassment.  He would need remedial help to achieve national embarrassment status..

I hope the voters of Florida's 8th district have the good sense to send him packing on November 2nd.

DEMOCRATIC THUGOCRACY & MEDIA COMPLICITY

Michelle Malkin has done us a great service by researching, and then writing about, how dilligently forces within the Democratic Party work to stop opposing messages from seeing the light of day.

Her latest column is an eye-opener, and then some.  I will show you several excerpts below, but you need to read every word to realize the full impact of what Ms. Malkin is telling us:

The White House attack on the US Chamber of Commerce isn't about "disclosure." It's about disarmament. While posing as campaign-finance champions, the ultimate goal of the Democratic offensive is to intimidate conservative donors, chill political free speech and drain Republican coffers.

 

But this isn't the first time liberal bullyboys have targeted right-leaning contributors. Far from it.

 

In August 2008, a former Washington director of MoveOn.org announced a brazen witch hunt against Republican donors. Left-wing political operative Tom Matzzie told The New York Times he would send "warning" letters to 10,000 top GOP givers "hoping to create a chilling effect that will dry up contributions."

 

Matzzie bragged of "going for the jugular" and said the warning letter would be just the first step, "alerting donors who might be considering giving to right-wing groups to a variety of potential dangers, including legal trouble, public exposure and watchdog groups digging through their lives."

 

Defenders of this initiative played the disclosure card -- hey, they were just providing "information" -- to rationalize the public humiliation of GOP donors.

 

Matzzie also put up a $100,000 bounty for dirt on conservative political groups "to create a sense of scandal" and dissuade donors from giving. The effort was cheered by Accountable America adviser Judd Legum, founder of Think Progress -- the same group leading the attack today on the US Chamber of Commerce.

 

Yet, Matzzie's group, Accountable America, is itself a 501(c)(4) nonprofit entity that shields the identity of its donors. (The group is required by law to remain nonpartisan, but has described itself as "dedicated to electing Democrats to the state legislature across America.")

 

Piggybacking on the Accountable America foray, Obama's campaign lawyers demanded that the Justice Department block TV stations from airing a documented independent ad spotlighting Obama's longtime working relationship with unrepentant Weather Underground terrorist Bill Ayers.

 

Obama summoned his followers to bombard stations, many owned by right-leaning Sinclair Communications, with 93,000 e-mails to squelch the commercial. Team Obama then tried (and failed) to convince the DOJ to investigate and prosecute the American Issues Project, the group that produced the Ayers ad, as well as Dallas billionaire and GOP donor Harold Simmons, who funded it.

 

Two Obama supporters -- Democratic St. Louis County (Mo.) Circuit Attorney Bob McCulloch and St. Louis City Circuit Attorney Jennifer Joyce -- took the next step and threatened to bring criminal libel charges against anyone who sponsored objectionable criticisms of Obama.

 

Anonymous mischief-makers created "Eight Maps," a detailed directory of Prop. 8 donors using Google Maps to pinpoint their residences and businesses. Death threats, enveloped with powdery substances, and boycotts ensued. "When I see those maps," admitted California Voter Foundation President Kim Alexander, "it does leave me with a bit of a sick feeling in my stomach."

 

It's the same feeling every American should be left with after witnessing the White House-approved donor-suppression campaign against fiscal and social conservatives. In the hands of leftist vigilantes, "disclosure" is a deadly bludgeon; political free speech is the casualty.

Prior to reading this blog (and, I hope, the entire Malkin column), did you know this was going on?  Did you have any idea of the specific actions being taken against people who dare to support Republicans and/or (gasp!) conservatives?  

If so, congratulations;  I suspect you are one of a very few. 

And why would this be so?  If this information is available to Michelle Malkin, is it not available to other media - media with far greater resources than any individual columnist?  

McCarthyite thug tactics being used against people who oppose the Democratic agenda is certainly news.  So why is it not common knowledge?

Can it be that these same thugs, acting on behalf of the Democratic Party, have also intimidated mainstream media so successfully that they are afraid to go public with it?

I suppose that is possible.  But a far more plausible explanation is that mainstream media, by and large, are acting as complicitors. 

I do not mean to say that mainstream media are engaging in the same tactics.  I mean that, because so many mainstream media venues share the same positions, they are not reporting these events because they do not want voters to be aware of them during the midterm campaigns.  Exposs about Democratic thugs, if they appear at all, will just have to wait until after election day.

But listen to them squeal like stuck pigs if you call them biased.
