No justice, no peace!   Nah, that's for the headlines.

No guilty verdict, no big cash settlement!   Yep, there it is.  Now we're talking.

Here is beginning of an Associated Press story on al sharpton threatening to close down New York City, because he does not like a not-guilty finding in the Sean Bell case.  You can read the entire article by clicking here:

NEW YORK (AP) - Hundreds of angry people marched through Harlem on Saturday after the Rev. Al Sharpton promised to "close this city down" to protest the acquittals of three police detectives in the 50-shot barrage that killed a groom on his wedding day and wounded two friends.

"We strategically know how to stop the city so people stand still and realize that you do not have the right to shoot down unarmed, innocent civilians," Sharpton told an overflow crowd of several hundred people at his National Action Network office in the historically black Manhattan neighborhood. "This city is going to deal with the blood of Sean Bell."

Sharpton was joined by the family of 23-year-old Sean Bell - a black man - and a friend of Bell who was wounded in the 2006 shooting outside a Queens strip club. Two of the three officers charged were also black.

al sharpton is a career racist, anti-Semite and opportunistic hustler.

Many people probably have a vague remembrance of the Tawana Brawley hoax he was so instrumental in perpetrating, and that sums up their knowledge of his background.  Most people do not have any idea at all about how much more there is.  The Freddy's Fashion Mart disaster (8 people dead), the Crown Heights riots (one death, numerous injuries), and more - a lot more.  You can read about some of the "high points" of sharpton's sordid history in this column by Jeff Jacoby, but there are numerous other sources as well..

Yet, despite this, al sharpton is also a Democratic kingmaker, who every Presidential candidate seeks out for his endorsement.  In the last Democratic convention, sharpton was given the podium for a 20 minute speech during prime time.

Can you imagine a Republican with sharpton's history being given even 20 seconds of non-prime time at the Party's convention?  Can you imagine what the press would say about that?

But sharpton, apart from everything else, is also very smart and very glib.  You can always get a really good soundbite from him.  So much of the media treat this repulsive character as a protected species.

Now he threatens to close down New York City.  For what reason?  Is he demanding that the judge get back on the bench and change his finding (visions of the movie "Trading Places", with Mortimer Duke screaming "turn those machines back on!  Turn those machines back on!")

Or, is he prepping the city for a subsequent civil action in which the judge and jury would be intimidated into finding things his way -- knowing that, based on all these years of acquescence, the press will go along for the ride and not show him up for the hustler he is?

You know his history.  The answer is right there.

How hard is mahmoud ahmadinejad working to fullfill his vision of worldwide holocaust? Very hard.

ahmadinejad believes in "the 12th Imam" coming to save the world.  That's nice.  But he also believes that the 12th Imam is not coming unless and until the countries of the world are fighting each other.  And that is not so nice.

If you think I am exaggerating, believe me, I'm not.  Read this and see for yourself.

The latest example of his efforts to create war and death are chronicled below, courtesy of the Times of London:

Britons kidnapped in Iraq are held by Iran

Five British hostages who were kidnapped in Iraq almost a year ago are being held inside Iran by Revolutionary Guards, according to two separate sources in the Middle East and London.

The hostages were handed over to the Revolutionary Guards by their Iraqi kidnappers last November, the sources believe. One of the sources said they were being held in the western Iranian city of Hamadan.

If confirmed, the involvement of Revolutionary Guards would be seen as evidence that senior figures in the Iranian government had backed the decision to hold them in the country.

However, British officials said that while there had been rumours that the five were in Iran, they had seen no evidence to support the idea.

The hostages are said to be in good physical shape but spending much of their time in solitary confinement.

According to one of the sources, they are under the control of Mohammad Safaei, 41, a senior Revolutionary Guard colonel who was previously in charge of special operations in the southern Iraqi city of Basra.

The hostages were kidnapped in Baghdad last May in an attempt to force the Americans to release Qais al-Khazaali, an Iraqi militia leader said to be close to the Revolutionary Guards.

Khazaali was apparently being groomed by Iran to take control of a breakaway faction of the Mahdi Army, a Shiite militia, that would be compliant with Tehran. A former chief spokesman for the Mahdi Army, Khazaali was arrested by US troops after masterminding a raid inside a base in which five US soldiers were killed. The Americans have refused to release al-Khazaali in exchange for the British hostages.

One of the sources, who has close links to the Revolutionary Guard, said the captors were looking for a face-saving way of freeing them. They have suggested the hostages write to church leaders in the UK asking for assistance in gaining their release, the source said.

The five were abducted from the Iraqi finance ministry, where one of them, Peter Moore, a computer specialist, was teaching data-processing. The other four were his bodyguards.

The suggestion that the hostages are in Hamadan follows contradictory claims earlier this month that they were in Tehran. This is the first time it has been claimed they are in the hands of Revolutionary Guards. One of the sources has previously proved to be a reliable source of information about them.

ahmandinejad has spent years saying and doing the most provocative things he can, for the express purpose of trying to get someone to attack him militarily so that he can attack back and create the death, destruction and chaos necessary for the 12th Imam prophecy to be realized.  That is his faith.  That is what he believes.  That is what he wants.

And he is far from alone among Muslims.  While a great many reject this belief, it can never be forgotten that a great many accept it too.  They will be allies if his wish comes true.

And, I am terribly troubled to say, he just might be close to getting it.  There is only so much the rest of the western world can take while looking the other way.

Israel, in particular, must be a key focal point here.  ahmadinejad threatens to wipe it off the face of the earth and is feverishly working to create the nuclear capacity to do just that.  How long can Israel wait before acting?  How long can the world sit on the sidelines and watch this situation progress.

Maybe now that he has brought the UK into this equation by holding its soldiers from Iraq, that country will start thinking more about what has to be done.

I certainly hope that the USA, which clearly is being fought by Iran through proxies like moqtada al-sadr, is thinking about it.

If something is going to be done, let it be sooner rather than later.  Every day that we wait is a day this sick lunatic gets stronger.

I promise you both sides in this blog.  And I intend to deliver.

In this spirit, I am posting an article by Geoffrey Dunn, writing for Black Star News (, which condemns Hillary Clinton and promotes Barack Obama.

Regular readers will certainly know I disagree with a lot of what Mr. Dunn says.  But that's just my opinion.  I want you to see Mr. Dunn's as well, so that you can make up your own mind.

Here it is:

Hillary Clintons Disgraceful Campaign: Racism and Hypocrisy

By Geoffrey Dunn

April 23rd, 2008

.[Elections 2008: Op-Ed Commentary On Hypocrisy]

In the aftermath of the Pennsylvania Democratic primary a race in which Senator Hillary Clinton had a 20-point lead only a few months ago the racism and hypocrisy of the Clinton campaign was laid bare for all a nation to scorn.

Desperate and willing to do anything to win, the Clintons resorted to a naked form of racism aimed directly at white working-class voters in the rural portions of the state. Their message: Barack Obama cannot win because hes black.

In the early stages of the campaign, it was Clintons cadre who kept playing the race card. In New Hampshire, Clintons co-chair, Billy Shaheen, accused Obama of being a drug dealer; then there was the photograph of Sen. Barack Obama in Somalian garb leaked to the press by Clintons staff.

In the aftermath of the South Carolina primary, former President Bill Clinton compared Obamas victory to those of Jesse Jackson in 1984 and 1988. His message was clear: Obama was a marginal, black candidate.

Then came the disgraceful remarks of Geraldine Ferraro, who could not, and would not, shut her mouth. If Obama was a white man, she charged, he would not be in this position." And she was adamant and unapologetic amid the resulting outcry. "Every time that campaign is upset about something, they call it racist, she proclaimed. I will not be discriminated against because I'm white."

Say what?

The Clintons refused to publicly call for Ferraros resignation. Ferraro remained unrepentant when she finally did resign. The Obama campaign is attacking me to hurt you, she bitterly wrote Hillary. And she never apologized for her remarks.

To anyone who has followed the Clinton campaign closely, it is all too apparent that her top political strategists reeling from losses from coast to coast and badly miscalculating the grassroots power of the Obama movement made a tactical decision to go negative, as that would be the only way for Clinton to stop Obama and somehow allow her to steal the nomination.

And go negative they did with a subtle yet consistent racism underscoring every turn. The now notorious red-phone-at-3:00-a.m. television ad used by Clinton during the Texas primary, as Harvard sociologist Orlando Patterson noted in the New York Times, was reminiscent of D. W. Griffiths racist film Birth of a Nation, which helped revive the Ku Klux Klan.

In Pennsylvania, Gov. Ed Rendell, who headed up Clintons campaign, was publicly saying that white voters in the Keystone State would not vote for Obama because he was black. Rendells remarks were racist from the get-go, but no one in the white media called him on it. Indeed, the media began playing the game.

ABCs George Stephanopoulos who worked as Bill Clintons press secretary and lied through his teeth on Clintons behalf (wheres the journalistic objectivity here?) brought up Obamas relationship to former 60s radical Bill Ayers. And the rest of the media went bonkers over Obamas all-too-honest remarks about conservative white voters hanging on to God and guns.

Amidst so much fury signifying nothing, Hillary Clinton finally did her own bidding. Racism is as racism does. She boldly linked Obama with Reverend Jeremiah Wright, and Wright with Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan. That linkage was patently racist at its core yet, once again, no one in the mainstream media so much as blinked. In so doing, Clinton was echoing the views of rightwing conservative and white supremacist Sean Hannity. Talk about shameful.

And when asked about Reverend Wright by The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, Clinton declared, Given all that we have heard and seen, he would not have been my pastor. While we dont have a choice when it comes to our relatives, we do have a choice when it comes to our pastors or our church.

As anyone who has read the two major recent biographies of Hillary Clinton (Her Way: The Hopes and Ambitions of Hillary Rodham Clinton, by Jeff Gerth and Don Van Natta Jr.; and A Woman in Charge: The Life of Hillary Rodham Clinton by Pulitzer-prize-winning journalist Carl Bernstein) knows all too well, she will do whatever she has to do and say whatever she has to say in the unbridled (and unscrupulous) pursuit of power. The ash heap of her duplicity sprawls across decades and across various regions of this country from Arkansas to the White House, from Illinois to, well, now, Pennsylvania.

Clinton is an inveterate liar I am sorry, there is truly no other word for it and as her ill-fated presidential campaign tumbles toward its inevitable demise, the personal deception that is at the core of her personality, and of her career, continues to reveal itself.

As we all know, truth may be slow of foot, but it is always inevitable. Only this past weekend, as Clinton continued to reference Reverend Wright in her stump speeches, the filmmaker Michael Moore reminded us that in 1998, Reverend Wright had actually been a guest at the Clinton White House, for a prayer breakfast, after Bill Clintons rather tawdry affair with intern Monica Lewinsky had been made public.

Thank you so much for your kind message, Clinton wrote Wright after his visit. I am touched by your prayers and by the many expressions of encouragement and support I have received from friends across our country. You have my best wishes.

And guess what? According to the just released schedules of Hillary Clinton by the National Archives, she was in attendance at that breakfast, too. With the one-and-only Jeremiah Wright. While her husband was seeking salvation and forgiveness.

The hypocrisy is staggering.

But not surprising. We know there are still many Americans who will never vote for a black man, Moore observed. Hillary knows it, too. She's counting on it.

steve schneider white supremist sean hannity???? (04/28/08)

Ken Berwitz Steve; There actually is a thread of reality to that characterization. A thin one, but a thread. Years ago, Hannity had a regular caller who referred to himself as "Hal from Bergen" or Hal from New Jersey (I don't remember which). Hannity seemed very happy with a lot of what "Hal" had to say. It turned out that this caller was Hal Turner, who is a vicious anti-Semite and anti-Black colostomy bag. No one knows for sure if Hannity was fully aware of this when he was happy to receive the calls. When Turner's identity became known, Hannity dropped him like a hot potato - either because he realized what a sack of manure Turner was or because he already knew but was OK with it until it became public knowledge.
