For months - up to and including just yesterday - I have been warning you about the racist and anti-Semitic connections of  Barack Obama.  The connections mainstream media have barely told anyone about, as Mr. Obama rides his flying carpet above reproach or criticism.

But maybe this Associated Press article will bring it home more clearly.  The full version can be found by clicking here.  But the key excerpts are shown below.  The bold print is mine:

A spry Farrakhan sings Obama's praises

By SOPHIA TAREEN, Associated Press Writer  Sun Feb 24, 10:40 PM ET

In his first major public address since a cancer crisis, Nation of Islam Minister Louis Farrakhan said Sunday that presidential candidate Barack Obama is the "hope of the entire world" that the U.S. will change for the better.

The 74-year-old Farrakhan, addressing an estimated crowd of 20,000 people at the annual Saviours' Day celebration, never outrightly endorsed Obama but spent most of the nearly two-hour speech praising the Illinois senator.

"This young man is the hope of the entire world that America will change and be made better," he said. "This young man is capturing audiences of black and brown and red and yellow. If you look at Barack Obama's audiences and look at the effect of his words, those people are being transformed."

Farrakhan compared Obama to the religion's founder, Fard Muhammad, who also had a white mother and black father.

"A black man with a white mother became a savior to us," he told the crowd of mostly followers. "A black man with a white mother could turn out to be one who can lift America from her fall."

Farrakhan rebuilt the Nation of Islam, which promotes black empowerment and nationalism, in the late 1970s after W.D. Mohammed, the son of longtime leader Elijah Mohammed, moved his followers toward mainstream Islam.

Farrakhan has drawn attention for calling Judaism a "gutter religion" and suggesting crack cocaine might have been a CIA plot to enslave blacks.

Is THAT clear enough?  Is there any doubt now?

Louis farrakhan, the "man" who Barack Obama's own church named "Man of the Year" in 2007, has spoken.  He thinks it would be great if you voted for Mr. Obama.  This racist and anti-Semite thinks Barack Obama is just what we need.

The only thing that puzzles me is farrakhan's timing.  Does he seriously think that after a lifetime of being at the forefront of hatred, a couple of unifying-sounding comments in recent years erases it all?  Does he think he's some kind of icon to non-Blacks?  To non-Black muslims?

In truth, if media report farrakhan's mouthings, the timing of his remarks could not have been better for Hillary Clinton if he were on her payroll.  His comments can do nothing but hurt Obama, because a) they associate the two an d b) they bring to light how attractive Obama is to racists/anti-Semites.

IF media reports what Farrakhan said.  That is the issue.  And just how big an issue is it?

The Associated Press, to its credit, put farrakhan's comments out for all subscribers to use as they wish.  The result?

-It was not mentioned on the Today Show this morning, not one word.  However, Today did air an unrelenting hit piece on Hillary Clinton, tailored to make anyone still supporting her feel like a hopeless behind-the-curve idiot.

-And the New York Times?  Not a word about farrakhan's enthusiasm for Barack Obama either.  They did, however, run a wholly sympathetic front page story about Mr. Obama.

I admit that there is a certain justice in media bias being used as unfairly against Ms. Clinton now as it has been used unfairly in favor of her and her husband in the past.  But that doesn't make it any more right this time.

These media venues are treating you like a fool they can manipulate and push around.  Don't you let them do it.

For the next 5 or 6 days I will have limited ability to blog.  I may be able to get in a couple of licks here and there, but mostly I won't have access to a computer.

The fun will begin again in earnest by the end of the week.

In previous blogs I have shown how Barack Obama's church of choice for the last 20 years, the Trinity United Church of Christ (TUCC) has been sanitizing its message of racism and separatism - presumably to help Mr. Obama win the presidency.

Well, the indispensable has reminded me of yet another major change in TUCC's web site.  Here is some material which used to be featured on it just a couple of months ago, but is no longer there now (bold print supplied by sweetness-light):

About Us

We are a congregation which is Unashamedly Black and Unapologetically Christian Our roots in the Black religious experience and tradition are deep, lasting and permanent. We are an African people, and remain "true to our native land," the mother continent, the cradle of civilization. God has superintended our pilgrimage through the days of slavery, the days of segregation, and the long night of racism. It is God who gives us the strength and courage to continuously address injustice as a people, and as a congregation. We constantly affirm our trust in God through cultural expression of a Black worship service and ministries which address the Black Community.

Trinity United Church of Christ adopted the Black Value System written by the Manford Byrd Recognition Committee chaired by Vallmer Jordan in 1981. We believe in the following 12 precepts and covenantal statements. These Black Ethics must be taught and exemplified in homes, churches, nurseries and schools, wherever Blacks are gathered. They must reflect on the following concepts:

1. Commitment to God
2. Commitment to the Black Community
3. Commitment to the Black Family
4. Dedication to the Pursuit of Education
5. Dedication to the Pursuit of Excellence
6. Adherence to the Black Work Ethic
7. Commitment to Self-Discipline and Self-Respect
8. Disavowal of the Pursuit of "Middleclassness"
9. Pledge to make the fruits of all developing and acquired skills available to the Black Community
10. Pledge to Allocate Regularly, a Portion of Personal Resources for Strengthening and Supporting Black Institutions
11. Pledge allegiance to all Black leadership who espouse and embrace the Black Value System
12. Personal commitment to embracement of the Black Value System.

When George Romney was a Republican candidate, a day did not go by without questions about his Mormon faith - one he was born in and grew up in.

But when was the last time you heard or saw any mainstream media questioning Barack Obama's racist, separatist chuch, which he was not born into and did not grow up in, but proactively chose as a college educated adult?

So, as TUCC continues its whitewashing of its racist, separatist web site, mainstream media continue to insulate Barack Obama from having to explain why this was just fine and dandy with him for 20 years.

You have a lot to fear from an Obama candidacy.  Even if media do their level best to hide it from you.
