Ken Berwitz

First off, I apologize for not putting something up here until now.  I was unable to get to a computer.

Now, to the blog by Barry, about "Imaginery (sic) Terrorist Threats"

Usually, I would take care of this by posting a comment below the blog.  But this deserves a more formal response.

What you are seeing is what happens when someone feels unconditional hatred, in this case for President Bush and his administration.

There was a terrorist plot hatching that would, if successful, have resulted in an explosion with deaths and damage to rival or even surpass 9/11.  Imaginary?  The FBI had an INFORMANT placed among the people planning it for OVER A YEAR, learning the who, and how of this intended attack.  The investigation culminated in four arrests and, we certainly hope, the threat of this specific terrorist act has been averted.

But Barry is telling us this was imaginary.  A fraud. It didn't exist.

And what basis does Barry have for this claim?  Do you see any evidence in his blog?  Any facts?  Anything besides his assumption that, if it looks like something good happened during the Bush administration, it has to be attacked and destroyed?

Similarly, do you see any facts to back up the claim that the would-be terrorists who wanted to blow up Fort Dix didn't exist and was also a fraud cooked up by Bush & Co.?  The answer is, no you don't.

Facts are not there and are not necessary, because the object is not to make fact based claims, it is to "prove" nothing good happened under the Bush administration.

And what if one or the other of these two plots had actually come to fruition?  Do you think Barry's pals at moveon.org, would be sympathetic to the Bush administration?  Would they be saying things like "well, you know there has been a whole bunch of noise about terrorism and none of it was real, so you can't expect the administration to know this one was real".?  Do you doubt they would be triumphant?  Gleeful?  Do you doubt that they'd be screaming "See, this PROVES they're all incompetents, and none of the things they did to 'protect' us did a thing"?  Do you doubt that this bunch would consider it a victory if it made Bush look bad.....with a few requisite crocodile tears for the victims?

This is hatred.  Plain and simple.  Hatred so strong that it overwhelms logic, common sense, and even our country's security.  Hatred that perverts and distorts reality.

Please, please remember:  This terrible game is being played with the security of our country and the safety of our people, including your family, relatives and friends.  It isn't just some silly political parrying and thrusting, there are life and death consequences.

The more political power and influence people who "think" this way have, the less safe we are.  ALL of us, even them.  Whether they intend to be or not, they are facilitators for terrorism in this country.  And they are so consumed with their hatred that they don't even realize it.

Legal citizen? Become illegal and save thousands

>>         (Actual letter from an Iowa resident and sent to his senator)

>>         Washington DC, 20510
>>         Dear Senator Harkin,
>>            As a native Iowan and excellent customer of the Internal
>> Revenue Service, I am writing to ask for your assistance. I have
>> contacted the Department of Homeland Security in an effort to determine
>> the process for becoming an illegal alien and they referred me to you.
>>            My primary reason for wishing to change my status from U.S.
>> Citizen  to illegal alien stems from the bill which was recently passed
>> by the Senate and for which you voted. If my understanding of this
>> bill's provisions is accurate, as an illegal alien who has been in the
>> United States for five years, all I need to do to become a  citizen is to
>> pay a $2,000 fine and income taxes for three of the last  five years. I
>> know a good deal when I see one and I am anxious to get the process
>> started before everyone figures it out.
>>             Simply put, those of us who have been here legally have had
>> to pay taxes every year so I'm excited about the prospect of avoiding two
>> years of  taxes in return for paying a $2,000 fine. Is there any way
>> that I can  apply to be illegal retroactively? This would yield an
>> excellent result for me and my family because we paid heavy taxes in 2004
>> and 2005.
>>            Additionally, as an illegal alien I could begin using the
>> local emergency room as my primary health care provider. Once I have
>> stopped paying  premiums for medical insurance, my accountant figures I
>> could save almost $10,000 a year.
>>            Another benefit in gaining illegal status would be that my
>> daughter would receive preferential treatment relative to her law school
>> applications, as well as 'in-state' tuition rates for many colleges
>> throughout the United States for my son.
>>            Lastly, I understand that illegal status would relieve me of
>> the burden of renewing my driver's license and making those burdensome
>> car insurance premiums. This is very important to me given that I still
>> have college age children driving my car.
>>            If you would provide me with an outline of the process to

Bush Magic Number 13! Imaginery Terrorist threats after something good happens

to Democrats or something bad happens to Republicans.\
Count em on 13 occasions since 9-11 the Bush Administration has created 13 different scenarios to
scare us with "imaginary terror" plots each and everyone of them coming within hours or a day after something good has happened for Democrats or something bad has happened to his own Party.
The latest being the JFK imaginary plot........preceded by those involving the pizza guys and Fort Dix and
back to the gang that couldn't shoot straight in Florida and Buffalo and in London where the US forced the UK to release information prematurely on a would be imaginary plot.
Tornado in Kansas and lack of equipment because it is all in Iraq.....brought out still another Republican cause the day after to put the news away for good.
Our day is moving oooooooooooo so close.   Oh and the JFK imaginary plot involves a Brooklyn US Attorney hand selected by Rove and a police commissioner who has a relative at FOX News.
I think that I will think of a way to buy firecrackers here in Florida where they are legal and then I might think of a way to do some harm to someone or something. That will then become a terrorist plot and will give reason for the 10th raising of the alert to Orange..  Previously it was done on Christmas in NY, Boats and trains were imminent. Planes over the ocean where another imminent target.
Zero people have been convicted. Jose Padilla was on the news for months, this after he was already in custody for months, they just needed something to distract us from the Democrats.  He did nothing or so said the courts.
